Isekai Mahou ?

What happened to the guy that stole my project ?

And I see lots of people having donation feature as well now. What was deemed free fan to fan before and got me criticized is now a trend ?

Oh my.

I’m considering to take this series back again. Since I love it before.

I considered this projected completely dead for a long ass time. Ill be honest with you, I dont give 2 fucks about the speed someone translates or quality so long as the plot is followable without taking more time to translate the translation then it takes to read it if that makes sense, what I care about is consistency of output. If you want to take this, make a schedule, and keep the schedule, if something happens and you get more out than normal, fine, we can be grateful for it no matter the reason why it comes faster, but if you have a schedule and you can’t keep it consistently, then don’t bother, just leave it to die. I’m a bit burnt out after the whole wordmaster translation clusterfuck that happened where one site that was the main go to stopped, went to another one, then another, then a third, and once it got to a stopping point i just gave up reading it, looking at it again to make sure I was right, it seems someone picked it up and has consistency, going to have to look into that.

What I’m getting at is I don’t care how long the schedule is, 2 months a chapter, 4 months, literally could not care less, but if you want to translate it again, pick a time period you know you will always have 1 chapter ready for and if extras come so be it.

Sorry if I come off as an ass, It’s late and there have been quite a few things I liked reading that died that I wish I never got my hopes up for in the first place.

Nope. That sounds perfectly rational and reasonable to me. I don’t know what happened to Konjiki. I guess it’s dead now ? I was pretty sure the team gonna continue it back then.

I’m not one to give promise, so I can’t promise you. But, I’ll do my best to meet up to the expectation.

I know the feeling when you can’t read what you usually read, thus is why I consider picking this up. I need a distraction from playing games anyway, might as well contribute to fellow lovers of LN.

      Good day to you.

Don’t have to give a promise, just pick a realistic time frame for you putting out a chapter when you aren’t 100% pumped to do it, and if you do give it up, don’t string us along saying its coming, just be honest and say you are burning/burnt out and expect nothing and be happy with something.

That’s really all I could ever ask. And thanks for the understanding reply.

You seem to be under some kind of misunderstanding. You was not criticised for having a donation feature on your blog as you certainly was not the only one. You was criticised for accepting donations for subpar translations which you put out for donations.

You consistently released translations that were missing entire paragraphs from the original content, which was proven by the translator who “stole” your project even though the novel isn’t even yours and all you are doing is translating it..

In regards as to who “owns” the project now, a translator over at Skythewood is translating it. http://skythewood.blogspot.co.uk/p/the-different-world-magic-is-too-behind.html

It was a courtesy for translator not to take, or at least contact first, other’s project. Suddenly just taking it without any contact is not deemed any good. Donation is donation, it’s out of free will. I wasn’t restricting the translation only for those who pays right ?

As for the sub-par translation, I admit I did omit some sentences that I don’t think matter much on some chapters. But hey, you’re donating, not exclusively buying it. there’s a difference. If you’re buying it, it’s a different story.

Anyway, ty for the info i guess.

I’ll try to include the trivials later on. Always strive for improvement.

People just like to find stuff to complain about, no matter where or when. So just ignore them if they bug you in the future. And if you do pick it back up, a lot of us would love it. The majority would, the haters are usually just a small number that seems larger because they’re so outspoken.

lol. People always change ~_~ Their views/opinions change so easily depending on their wants/needs. Human nature….. hmm…

Well, honestly, SkyTheWood’s the one that continued doing it as a service? because the other one that stole it stopped and the novel is gathering dust, so through people’s requests and pleads, there it is, though as we all know, SkyTheWood have many projects which are all time favorites so it’s hard to handle it. Well, that’s what I assume, at the least.

It will me most welcome if you’ll really translate it once more after all the fuss back then, and for courtesy and good relation, contact or inform Skythewood of it, as so far, it’s all thanks to him that we haven’t been dying from lack of chapters, lol. Well, just me saying it :).

I always feel weird when I reread Isekai Mahou as I always remember the hype about it back then only for it to suddenly fall back in line.

Well, you know. Some people can’t just appreciate what they get. When there’s no one doing it, the disappointment comes in. Maybe in alternate timeline, where there’s no hate and just translation continuing.

True. Honestly, the issue with money is non-sense as it’s decided by one’s self. And they don’t have the ability/skill to do the translation themselves so more of a reason to not be unreasonable, lol.

Finally, respect, honestly this is the one most often forgotten by people in this area so it leads to many problems.

Well, people should look up the meaning of “Donation”. It’s not like they have any actual obligation to donate. Just a way to appreciate. Most of the complainers are not donating but still complains of course :D. Well, what do you expect of humans.

Nice having a conversation with you, Good day.
