The most important thing is the Quality of the release and that the translator/ tlchecker/ Editor/ proofreader likes to work to bring us the novels.
I like the Quality of the actual translator of the new gate and he is fast enough for his extremly good Quality and the length of the partial chapters. And if you can only cry out ” please faster Releases”, than learn japanese,korean and chinese and help them translating.
Elysion, I know you want to work on a new novel, but if it’s possible help the actual translator to release new chapter of the new gate, if he accepts it or select a new interesting novel, who is not translated by anyone. There are enough novels out there who are really good but are not translated.
I hope i did not offend anyone but that is my opinion to nearly all the comments above!!!

well they took long to translate The New Gate, Because Each Chapter are so long……….. yeah very long, not like other Light novel like Tate no Yuusha, Konjiki Konjiki no Word Master,etc, and just 2 days ago they translated Vol 2 Chapter 2b
maybe you can tried other Novel, because they still very active

The only reason TL wont pick that up is the Japan Stronk~ vibe from WN/LN. Mind you, the huge wall of text is another factor, but not too much because.

Like all the other comments, yeah, it’s active and updating once a week since those are pretty long chapters.
I’d recommend YOMIGAERI NO MAOU, (all put it in recommendations) which used to be translated by oniichanyamete but they dropped it(?) At chapter 20 and a half. At least that’s what the comments from the translator state. It might be picked up some time soon since the light novel adaptation was announced (it’s web novel).
It’s about a demon lord who died and then resurrected as a human, keeping his memories and magic power. It’s pretty interesting as far as the translated chapters go and I know there are lots of people wanting someone to pick it up.

Or so he says. Never knew which are the so called machine translators that are picking it up tho. And from the comments’ dates, it’s old news when he first said that.

Hachi-nan was dropped recently. Someone said they’d pic it up but They’ve only done one part of chapter 30 and I think it’s been over two weeks with no notice?

Its imo a good series, but it is a bit lackluster in terms of glory, since the main character(sort of spoiler?) is trying not to be found out of being equivalent to several countries combined in strength. Basically only a few people know how ridiculously strong he is and even they don’t know even close to his actual strength.

Yes , he is active, doing it weekly just the exception that if it is really large he will take some more time , maybe you could contact him and cooperate with him? Is is divided into 4 chapters that are divided into three parts, he puts a part weekly
